DAILY ITINERARY:

Arrive Salt Lake City  and transfer to the hotel by 4 PM.  Your Tour Director will meet you at the hotel on check-in.

This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner,  meet your  fellow travelers and review the trip itinerary with your Tour Director.  After dinner, visit Temple Square to listen to the world-famous Tabernacle Choir (choir schedule permitting) during their weekly Thursday evening rehearsal. (D)

Salt Lake City, UT Area Hotel - 1 Night

Experience a once-a-lifetime opportunity touring the beautifully renovated Salt Lake Temple during its Open House.  This is the first time it has been open to the public in its entire 133 year history!  

Travel by motor coach thru Star Valley with a stop at Bear Lake, the "Caribbean of the Rockies" on the way to Jackson, WY. 

Dinner is on your own with free time to explore  historic saloons, dance halls, and the wide variety of shops and boutiques.  (B)

Jackson Area Hotel - Jackson, WY - 1 Night

Enjoy a peaceful float trip on the Snake River with spectacular views of the Teton Range. Your river guide will point out wildlife, explain the geology of the area and tell stories about local history and folklore.

Then visit the historic Jackson Lake Lodge and continue towards Yellowstone National Park (A UNESCO World Heritage Site). The world’s first national park is a wonderland of natural beauty and geologic oddities that has delighted visitors for over 100 years. 

The evening is free to explore on your own. (B)

West Yellowstone Area Hotel - 1 Night

Spend the day exploring Yellowstone National Park including the park's most famous landmarks such as Firehold Falls, Fountain Paint Pots and of course, Old Faithful - the world's most famous geyser.  Be on the lookout for resident wildlife!

Tonight, put on your dancing boots and enjoy a Western celebration including a traditional cowboy chuckwagon dinner with music and dancing at the Cody Cattle Company.  (B ,D)

Cody, WY Area Hotel - 1 Night

Delve in to Western Heritage with a visit to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West; with five museums under one roof; the Whitney Art Gallery, Plains Indian Museum, Winchester Gun exhibit, The Draper Museum of Natural History and The William Fredric Cody Wing. There is something for everyone.

Continue the journey to visit the Wyoming Dinosaur Center and Dig Sites with a behind-the-scenes tour.  This world-class facility displays one of the largest and most unique fossil collectoins in the world and their dig sites have some of the richest fossil-bearing strata in the US.  (B, L) 

Riverton, WY Area Hotel - 1 Night

Enjoy a visit to the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary to meet real wild mustangs and learn about the deep cultural ties between these horses and Native American traditions. 

Next visit the Freemont County Pioneer Museum with its treasure trove of stories from the Gold Rush, miners and ranching in the American West. This museum celebrates the diverse people who shaped Wyoming. After a short drive back to Salt Lake City enjoy a  delicious Farewell Dinner.  (B, D)

Salt Lake City Area Hotel - 1 Night

After breakfast, transfer to Salt Lake City Airport using the complimentary airport shuttle, taking with you all the wonderful memories of exploring the Wild Wild West.
