Marriott Uptown Albuquerque – 4 Nights

It’s an early morning start as we head out to Fiesta Field to witness the amazing Mass Ascension!  Enjoy exclusive access to the Chaser's Club next to Balloon Field where hot breakfast awaits. Walk onto the field to see the balloons being inflated and chat with the pilots.  Keep your camera ready for taking amazing photos as the sky fills with balloons of every shape and size, lifting off in a coordinated launch! Next visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and enjoy Native American cultural dances.  Journey to Acoma Pueblo*, the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the United States, perched atop a sandstone mesa.  Tour the San Estevan del Rey Mission built in 1629.  This evening enjoy dinner on your own with many fine restaurants to choose from.  (B, L)

*Video cameras and binoculars are strictly prohibited.  No photography is allowed inside the church or cemetery courtyard.

Ascend to the crest of the Sandia Mountains aboard the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway where a beautiful 11,000 sq. mile panoramic view awaits!  After, enjoy a driving tour en route to Sawmill Market, a vibrant market featuring local food vendors, artisans, and artists. Following lunch on your own, continue to Old Town Albuquerque to enjoy entertainment at the Gazebo in the Plaza with time to browse the shops and galleries. Return to Balloon Fiesta Field for the Special Shape Glowdeo with exclusive access to the Anderson Abruzzo Balloon Museum Observation Deck, featuring indoor seating and a buffet-style dinner.  The AfterGlow Fireworks Show will dazzle and delight! (B, D)

After breakfast, depart for Santa Fe via the scenic Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway.  On arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of Santa Fe's historic Plaza, St. Francis Cathedral, the famous Loretto Chapel with it's "miraculous" staircase and San Miguel Chapel.  Enjoy free time for lunch and to visit the Indian Market with opportunity to purchase hand-crafted turquoise jewelry direct from the artist.  Return to Albuquerque for a wonderful farewell dinner.  (B, D)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for home. (B)
