It’s an early morning start as we head out to Fiesta Field to witness the amazing Mass Ascension! Walk onto the field to see the balloons being inflated and chat with the pilots. Keep your camera ready for taking amazing photos as the sky fills with balloons lifting off in a coordinated launch! Depart for Santa Fe for a full afternoon to explore. Enjoy the shops, museums and galleries with the opportunity to experience authentic foods of the Southwest. On the return trip, enjoy a stop in Old Town Albuquerque and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. (B)
This morning, attend another exciting balloon event - the most popular of all! Be amazed at the variety of special shapes and sizes of the balloons. After, enjoy a stop at the Turquoise Museum and learn the history of this highly desirable stone. After free time, return to Fiesta Field for the Special Shape Glowdeo followed by a spectacular fireworks show. During the Glowdeo the pilots fire their burners, and the field is alight with every color of the rainbow against the night sky! Truly spectacular! (B)
