DAILY ITINERARY:

Arrive Fairbanks, Alaska and enjoy a Meet and Greet transfer to the hotel. with the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore Alaska's Golden Heart City.

Fairbanks Area Hotel – 1 night

Enjoy a city tour and learn about the history of the Gold Rush with a stop at the Museum of the North, housing more than 2.5 million artifacts. After free time for shopping and lunch, enjoy a cruise along the Chena River aboard a Sternwheeler boat learning about the Athabascan Native Culture. Tonight’s included dinner is an authentic salmon bake – a true Alaskan experience! (B, D)

This morning, you’ll transfer to the Denali Rail Depot where you’ll board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic train ride to Denali National Park. At the Denali Discovery Center enjoy a stunning interpretative hike around Otto Lake. After the hike, enjoy a reception with light refreshments as well as a “Welcome to Denali” talk preparing you for tomorrows excursion. (B, Reception)

Denali Area Hotel – 2 nights

Travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour ++ and search the vast wilderness for “Alaska’s Big Five”, bear, moose, caribou, wolves and Dall sheep. This six-to-eight-hour journey is narrated by the bus driver offering insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this region. A snack box is included. Tonight enjoy the famous Denali Dinner Theater. (B, Snack Box, D)

Enjoy a mid-morning scenic motor coach journey to the quaint town of Talkeetna. Talkeetna is located at the confluence of three rivers, the Susitna, the Chulitna, and the Talkeetna. After enjoying free time exploring the town, continue the scenic motor coach journey to Anchorage. Tonight, share stories of your Alaskan adventure with your fellow travelers at the included farewell dinner. (B, D)

Overnight Anchorage Area Hotel – 1 night

 

Your adventure concludes with a convenient transfer to the Anchorage Airport for your onward journey home. (B)
